Coggin Elementary Spring Concert

First, I would like to thank all of the families that shared your opinion on the concert time survey.  We had over 50% response and this truly helps me make decisions regarding concert times that work better for our Coggin families.  The survey results show that 60% of parents/guardians prefer to have the concert at 6:00 PM with an additional 19.5% who don’t have a preference if the concert time is day or evening.  Therefore, the concert will remain at 6PM.  If your student is in Ms. Bigham’s, Ms. Mirike’s, Ms. Richmon’s, Ms. Maninger’s, Ms. Long’s, Ms. Grider’s, or Ms. Templeton’s homeroom, your concert date is Tuesday, April 18th at 6:00PM.  If your student is in Ms. Baslee’s, Ms. Land’s, Ms. Mosqueda’s, Ms. Christiansen’s, Ms. Crosby’s, Ms. Cardenas’, Ms. Fell, or Mr. Ripley’s homeroom, your concert date is Thursday, April 20th at 6:00PM.  Please remember, concert attendance for your student is required as it is a summative assessment of his/her ability to perform in a variety of criteria in a formal setting.  If your student has a conflict on his/her concert date, he/she will be able to perform on the other date as the two concerts are identical.  If your student does need to switch dates, please let me know in advance so I can make the necessary adjustments in the standing order on the risers, instrument auditions and program notes.
